The News Knows

I tuned into the TV News the other night just to get the weather and there was another story about Britney Spears including video and interviews. I actually sat down to watch. I don’t know why I even care because I don’t really know Britney and it’s none of my business, but a lot of people must care (obviously me too) because she is all over the news.

Lately, when I’m listening to my TV in the background, (REALLY! I don’t usually sit in front of it), just before they cut to a commercial, the news anchor just says a little blurb about what Britney’s done now. I’m sure they know that most of us will stick around through the commercial or at least make sure to be front and center immediately after the commercial –  to get the rest of the scoop on poor Britney Spears.

We see a lot of those wigged-out shots these days, but as I watched the Britney Spears Pepsi Superbowl Commercial I saw a talented, pretty girl, so maybe her paparazzi boyfriend, Adnan Ghalib, thinks so too. Maybe he really isn’t such a bad guy after all?  Who knows?? maybe he is attracted to her good looks and/or her talent. Maybe he thinks she will regain her sanity, if she was ever sane, or maybe he feels comfortable with her the way she is now, which would mean that he, too, is pretty cooked, which would indicate that they are a perfect match. Whatever the case, the good news for him is that she hasn’t kicked him to the curb. At least not yet. Ain’t love grand??

Has anyone really heard any ‘real news’ about Britney lately. We already know this girl has problems. How about: Britney JEAN Spears gets her act together. That would be NEWS!! Seriously, all kidding aside, that would be GREAT NEWS!!

These reporters are like children, who find a tiny little hole in the knee of their pants that could be easily patched, but instead of instead of allowing mommy to fix it, they ’work it’ until there is a gaping hole so huge that that their pants are ruined. Well, actually it’s more like they’re doing this to other people’s pants.By the way, did you know that she got a new attorney? I guess that’s good. Is it?
